Janine Watson has practiced commercial real estate in the Bay Area as a broker representing clients leasing, buying, developing, and selling buildings for over twenty years. Her career began at Grubb & Ellis Commercial Brokerage in the suburbs of Oakland and Contra Costa, but her passion is the diverse urban market of San Francisco. After the 1989 earthquake, Janine joined the downtown office of Cushman & Wakefield. In 2000, she was appointed Director at Pacific Union/GMAC Commercial Brokerage in San Francisco and is a top producer for the firm.

Janine has extensive transaction experience in all sectors—office, industrial, retail, and flex—and is accomplished in all phases of sales and leasing; since 2000, however, she has specialized in exclusively representing San Francisco-based companies in leasing and/or buying commercial property. She also frequently partners with brokers in other states to arrange new facilities for her local clients.

Janine is a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana and holds a B.A. in English and American Literature from University of Louisiana @Lafayette and an M.A. in English and American Literature from University of Arkansas @Fayetteville. She enjoys book clubs, opera, hiking, pilates, movies. Janine lives in San Francisco.
