Pacific Union Commercial Brokerage is a San Francisco-based organization of real estate professionals specializing in the leasing and sale of commercial properties for a diverse group of clients. In March, 2000, it was acquired by GMAC Financial Services as part of Pacific Union Real Estate Group, Ltd. With more than 560 sales/leasing associates in 12 offices, doing 3,377 number of closed transactions totaling more than $4.5 billion in 2007.

Pacific Union Company (parent of the Real Estate Group) was founded in 1974 by veteran real estate marketers and developers H. Williams Harlan, the late Peter Stocker, and former Wells Fargo Mortgage Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer John Montgomery. The company’s marketing foundation enables it to be recognized as a prominent leader and visionary in commercial and residential properties throughout the Bay Area.
